Vaimo Bolsters its European Reach by Entering the Netherlands

Vaimo, a global digital commerce solutions and strategic omnichannel partner, continues its worldwide expansion with the opening of a new office in the Netherlands. Hot on the heels of Vaimo’s entrance to the Belgium market in 2017, expansion into the Netherlands plays a key role in the company’s purpose of driving success in digital commerce.

A substantial and flourishing eCommerce market is currently being witnessed within the Netherlands. The country has the highest number of online stores per capita in Europe and most recently saw the value of eCommerce hit €22.5 billion—an increase of 13% on the previous year. In addition, data shows that 97% of the population are considered internet users, and of this 84% shop online. This means that well over 80% of the Dutch population shops online and, year on year, average spending per online shopper is on the rise.
